Hello , so what i noticed 'till now is that on video standard with max values it doesn't respond to anything on/off button or any other commands and the counter is on 0"

Thanks David!
I've not tried yet usb-remote but when camera is connected to pc's usb phystats changes so it is quite possible to make it to work.
Very soon I will perform some tests  :)

Hi seedow! Same things happens to me in video mode, so I will fix this soon - don't worry!
Let me know if there are other bugs (I hope none!)

Hoi,

greetz from Germany - first of all - thank you for making CHDK avaible for even my beloved A530! Great work!
I 'm not sure if this is a bug, but after the whole procedure "making my SD Card bootable" ( so the new firmware is automatically loaded) my Canon tells me that there is no SD Card inserted :( but the firmware will load...
Thx!
Max

Hi Max! Thank you for reporting this, I will test it as soon as possible - appended to the 'many things that may not work in this very first beta' list  :D

Now video works correctly. Do some tests with different compression mode.

Hello , is me again .. i want 1st of all to thank you for your work in porting the chdk for this type of cannon.
Now i'd like to report another bug -> extra photo operations override shutter speed value = 100 ; value factor = 1/10000 ;Override aperture 21.66 ; ---------//-------- iso value 2 , now on after you arm the shutter the camera stop responding and turns off.
And another thing video is now working yes but , quality setting and the rest to max values i recored 9" after i stoped filming hitting the shutter the camera went off.
ps. Sorry if my english is not so good . ( i hope i can be useful and not tell you thing u already know)

Hi seedow!
I will check this soon. I think that's may not be a bug but simply this settings go beyond hardware limits. I would like if you continue performing this kind of tests, they are more useful!
(I've not noticed the video issue, btw I consider it in next release  ;))
Thanks for reporting it!

I will wait some days before build a new version, this to give time to users to test the current beta and to report bugs.
By now I'm testing the currently reported issues.
I would appreciate every contribute!

(if you can't wait next beta version and want to test usb-remote feature try add those lines in generic/kbd.c):

Code: [Select]
#if defined(CAMERA_a530)
#define USB_MASK 0x2000
#define USB_REG 1
#endif

Saluti!

Hi , i've seen another thing when using zebra  if , after i take the pict i still hold down the shutter some nasty lines same color as the lines from zebra are filling the camera screen. That was the first part and the second one in view picture mode if i look at a pict and i'm hiting the shutter the osd display starts to flash this i think is happening in blink mode set in zebra.And something i don't know what it is or if it happend before using chdk but i think my cam worms up especially the lcd.
