I've been checking out CHDK and I'm really impressed with it. I think it might go well with a new concept for a site I'm working on called DeviceKnit.
It's like a cookbook for gadgets and meant to be a place for people to share hacks and combinations of devices they are using together, so people with similar devices can discover that content and find out ways they might be able to get more from what they have.
We're calling these setups or combinations of HW and SW "implementations." Right now we are looking for feedback on the concept of the site as it's in the very early stages at
http://deviceknit.com. We'd really like to get some implementations in there that demonstrate how people are using CHDK to get the most from their Canon cameras so other people who add similar cameras can discover what's possible.
