Hello everybody,

I have recently purchased a sx1is and am very happy with it so far apart from the 15 sec exposure limit, I have been looking on the internet for the last couple of days for ways around this and have ended up here.

I have searched this forum for exposure threads and there are lots so I can see it is possible , but I can't see any mention of it for the sx1is.

Is it available?

Yes, CHDK is available for the SX1 with firmware version 2.00H and 2.01A.
All CHDK version does support exposure times up to 64s, the SX1 is one of the cameras with support up to ~2000 seconds.
