Taking shots every second etc(without holding the shutter down)...S95

Ok, so I've searched the forum and read through most of the manual and can't figure out how to get the camera to take pictures every second or two seconds etc.

The user guide says I need use the bracketing mode and custom timer but that doesn't lead me anywhere that makes sense.  Any help is appreciated.  I've spent the past 3 days to finally getting the dang card working, so making it idiot proof is appreciated :).

If you want to take more than a few pictures, you need an intervalometer script.  You should be able to find several on the wiki and forum.

The custom timer feature works without CHDK, but only lets you take 10 shots and takes them as fast as it can.

Note that the S95 port is quite early in development, so you should not expect all features to work. The development thread will have some information on what other people have used successfully.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Awesome, thanks.  I guess I was assuming that feature was native in the CHDK download.  Thanks for the help, I'll see what's available in the developer thread.

Here's a tiny script that will do the job - http://arch.ced.berkeley.edu/kap/discuss/comments.php?DiscussionID=3093&Focus=34449#Comment_34449

As written it takes photos every 5 seconds, but you can adjust it (either permanently by editing the script, or temporarily at run-time by using the CHDK scripting menu). You may not be able to take photos every second though - takes some time to save a photo to the card.
