Is there a Canon S90/S95 hack for allowing auto-focus during video recording?

Hey, all -

Can the S95 be hacked so that it allows auto-focus during video recording?  This is my only hang-up with the S90/S95.  Since I record do-it-yourself/demonstration/product review videos every now and again, the fact that the camera sets its focal point for video only once when you begin recording is somewhat of a disappointment.  This means that, if you start recording at 6 feet from the subject, the camera won't adjust its focus so that you can move within a few inches without it being blurry.

I'd assume that the hardware supports it since it will auto-focus while in standard picture mode, so it only makes since that a script can be written to support auto-focus during recording of video.

CHDK supports an AF in video on some cameras. This is not fully automatic, you have to press a key to force an AF scan. To find out whether it is currently working in a particular port, I suggest reading that ports development thread, and asking there if it isn't already mentioned.

Don't forget what the H stands for.
