shutterspeed override problem in A470

hi i am a newbie i just loaded chdk in my a470 firmware with ver. 1.02c. whenever i override shutter speed value
more than 1/2000 sec my camera does not accept nor even less than 15 sec. please help urgently.also how to override aperture in a470.
