Controlled bracketing in continous

I need to control number of shoots in continous mode. Because keep pressing shoot button is not comfortable for long times.

I write script but i don't understand why it working strange. It makes one photo more than standard continous and it is unnecesary because has not changed EV value.

Could somebody tell me why?
Errors in script?

Code: [Select]
@title bracketing in continous mode
@param a shoots
@default a 3

sleep 1000

press "shoot_full"
do
  get_prop 218 w
until w=a
set_prop 218 0
release "shoot_full"

end

Hi kamil!
Your script works fine with my cam!

btw: could you add your cam model in your profile (Picture/Text)? Everybody would know than what cam you are talking about. ::)
edit: I didn't know about propcase 118! I always was looking for this funktion!
I tested with and without bracketing in different modes and your script always worked well! I put it to my collection, thanks again!

hmmm

So it's only G7 problem?

Normal EV bracketing need 3 photos. With this script i need 4 photos because two first are the same :/

p.s. I add camera info into my profile as you see, thanks.

Im happy that it's working fine on Yours cameras. I know that it is really needed, because its the fastest script bracketing :) . Thanks for applause, great to hear it.

I suppose this doesn't work on Digic III as propcase 218 is jpeg output size (from the wiki:)
Quote
(218   Picture Size (0,1,2,3,4,6,8 = L,M1,M2,M3,S,Postcard,W)

Also, I couldn't find a propcase on the a570is that would change when changing the continuous shooting mode shot count. Propcase 224 for the pre-delay does update as listed in the wiki.
