Hi all.
Was a very old user (and programmer) of CHDK (ported ixus65 camera), however left CHDK after my camera death. After that digged much into hv10/20 camcorders, but it seems no much success on this area (btw my hv10 is dead too now).
Recently purchased sx20is, so kind of interested in CHDK again.
The problem I'm facing now is usage of external flash with sx20.
I have quite at old (but good) flash, it is manual in sence that I have to match aperture/shutter for every photo I'm doing. Thats quite a boring task.
However the point is there is a simple dependance between the focus distance and aperture which should be set. Right now thinking of doing this with with CHDK. The idea is to track focus distance changing during targeting and seamlessly change aperture.
Is there any users with similar problems? Or, may be there exist some solution already (except of course buying another flash)?
