Hi, i have the G11 and would love to get a remote zoom, as well as a remote shutter (the latter is easy)

Apparently, the g10 was the last to have a remote zoom :o

Is there any way that the g11 zoom can be operated remotely, or by a computer usb, or anything?

All help much appreciated!

Hello Paul and welcome.

With CHDK, you can use a script to respond to switch presses and zoom the lens.

With SDM, you can choose 'remote zoom' option from the menu.
No script is needed and once in zoom mode simply press the remote.

I am not sure if CHDK has that feature.
