Hey guys,

I'm trying to get SDM installed using the sdminste.exe installed and have following all instructions multiple times on multple 8gb cards.

However every time it's completed I get the following:

The card will boot whilst locked into SDM on the Canon A470 and save images but when placed back into the memory card slot on my Vaio the "Swap partitions" option is not available so I can't get the images?

Or it will be the other way around, I have access to the images but it won't boot?

I'm using the latest and correct versions of all software but am getting nowhere, any ideas?

You can swap the partitions on the camera - CHDK Menu --> Miscallaneous --> Swap partitions
--hope this helps. I'm not sure if it will. I'm used to doing this on WinXP

It won't help - he's using SDM not CHDK and currently SDM does not offer a "switch partitions" option.
