i see where you are coming from thinking they are the wrong size, but i don't want them to plug into the camera,i want the usb from the camera lead to plug into them. i like to do some macro shots as well as others when i go out shooting,so every now and again i will have to use a single camera as the stereo base is mm,and i think it will cause less damage and wear on the camera socket if i just disconnect it from the usb remote. the other reason for this set up is i don't want the remote hanging from the camera all the time when i am clambering about the fields. i have seen the ones fvdk made the same way,but i have gave myself a challenge to build my own at very low cast as i have most of the components to hand. if it all goes tits up i will try to see if i can get one from fvdk.i had a bad experience with pay pal in the past and swore i would never use them again. thanks for your replies.
