@Microfunguy...
Hey, check out these USB cords. I didn't know about them until Linnar sent me a link to them. I'm going to check them out.

That looks OK but what lead is provided with your intended video transmitter ?

It needs to be a 3.5mm jack, presumably mono.

I know some info has already been posted about this subject, but I just finished building a USB/Video splitter cable for my SX130IS.  It definately works to control the camera via USB while viewing camera video externally.

Here are some instructions and pictures --> http://www.achillies.com/CHDK_Files/USB_Splitter.htm

Well I got my CAMremote 2A, cables and a 8 button Radio Control RC-8 for CAMremote-2. I have been playing with it for a week or so and got the most of it to function with my Canon S95 but I can't get it to ZOOM. It does half press to focus and also trigger the shutter plus i'm able to control two Servos for tilt & Pan. I have loaded up CHDK and SDM. I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong since this is all new to me. Got any ideas?

Hello and welcome !

I am currently testing various scripts with Freeflow on his S95.

You could try replacing your DISKBOOT.BIN with this version:

Hi folks,
Not sure if this is the right place to ask?
I have an S95 and want to add CHDK to it.  Is there a current version for the S95 that is totally stable as I don't want to bugger up my very expensive camera?
Also, where would I get it from (and instructions how to get it on my card/camera).
Kind regards
Ian

There is no such thing as totally stable. CHDK comes with no warranty and any use is absolutely at your own risk. See http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#Q._Can_CHDK_damage_your_camera.C2.A0.3F

It's up to you to understand the risks and decide whether they are acceptable.

The FAQ also has some information on this.
You can download the files from http://mighty-hoernsche.de/

Thanks for the reply.  I understand the risks.

I read about them on the link you put in your post - the writer of that article suggests only using tried and tested script so you know others have used it without issues.  When I click on the other link and find my S95 download, it's called "BETA".  Does this mean that it's still being trialed or can anyone confirm that it is ok to put on my card and use?

Kind regards

Ian
