Ive searched over the net , i cant find out what firmware my Ixus 55 is running or if how to update it.

Ive searched Canon and various other sites to no avail.

I want to run the CHDK but there is no update firmware option on my camera.
I have not copied the download to the sd card yet , will it only appear when its on there?

Please help as its driving me mad! lol

Take a picture with your camera and transfer it to your PC. The download ACID and run it - drop the picture on the ACID window and ACID will download the right build for you.
