I used the fir from indy to enable the bootflag while i was on 1.0.8 and then i reupgraded to 1.0.8 official.
Now i'm trying to make the autoexec work but the camera won't boot :(

Ok, since i can't send more than 5 private messages per hour i'll write some reports here.
Focus peak doesn't work, if i enable it the screen in live view shows some corrupted red stuff (do you want a screen?).
Also, while in the Canon menu i can see written stuff regarding buttons and wheels used to scroll through it.
If i delete an image the screen is turned off right after i confirm the action.

Thank you!
I guess I was just missing the font file. It now works great.

Can you complete the section with "what works and what not" ?

http://magiclantern.wikia.com/wiki/50D

Also tell me, from the disabled menus, which function might be of interest for 50D users.

The "Expo" menu doesn't work at all. Iso are only in AUTO as for the WB. Aperture and shutter speed are not reported and can't be changed (the lens is not recognized) . The AE flash comp. is the only thing working here.

Who would like to help me find the LiveView image buffers? You should be able to upload a 256MB file somewhere.

Tried, but all I've got was static zebras. Now I'm looking for a new tester.

When all else fails, brute force prevails :)

Hi,

Can you complete the section with "what works and what not" ?

all of what I tried was already listed in the wiki, however here are my 2cts :

Shoot - Bracketing :
It takes the correct number of shoots (using intervalometer) but all the shoots have the same exposition.
Shoot - Silent picture :
the lcd screen keeps switching (LV screen -> ML menu -> canon menu -> LV screen -> ...)
Shoot - Bulb :
Doesn't do anything.

Also tell me, from the disabled menus, which function might be of interest for 50D users.

I'm interested in the bracketing and intervalometer function (mostly) but anything else is also a step forward!

Thanks again.

Thanks hanspi,

Can you download the latest changeset? I did some 50D fixes today. There is a small chance that zebras (and others, like motion detection) may work.

For silent picture, please try it in Burst mode and send me a 422 file.

Edit: bulb timer might also work now.
