Hello. I am new to this forum and I am proficient user of my Canon 50D.

I tried installing ML but it didn't work. I made a fatal mistake in the instruction and put the 50D firmware to 1.0.9.

I have mis-read the row, the 1.0.9 was actually for 550D. So my mistake. I would like to ask if anyone here has a 1.0.8 that they can share? I would like to give a try and roll it back.

Otherwise there is a mentioning fix here and the instruction are not very clear.

My Canon 50D never ran a ML on it. So this is the first time. Can you please let me know via PM or e-mail?

I am really excited using it. Many thanks.

is this for 1.0.9 ?     I just updated to 1.0.9 and tried to put the boot flag ON but it doesnt seem to work i just get a black screen after i do the "update firmware" procedure

It seems you're doing something wrong :-[
You don't need to install ML 2nd time after updating firmware to 109.

Any chance of 720@60? Also, what about integration with the canon menu?

I'm not sure if any of this is possible... I can only understand about 1/4 of the code  ::)

Compile again and tell me if menu works. Scrollwheels should work too in menu, in LiveView.

What's that? Focus peaking?

Try putting this in consts.h:

#define YUV422_HD_BUFFER_DMA_ADDR (*(uint32_t*)(0x455c + 0xB8))

If it's not that, I'm 99% sure that it's 0x455c + something :)
