Because wide angle Camera have lots distortion and eye focal is 50 mm, i think its a good idea to have a chdk option, so that on every camera start the lens is move to a default Zoom value a user set.also a option use last zoom pos i find usefull.

I am happy that my camera have on start always 36 mm with not so much distortion, but i like to set on start 50 mm.and if not all fit, i can zoom.

with 50 mm distortion is fewer.but set zoom manual always to 50 mm cost more time and its not easy possible to fit exact the value

maybe other find this feature usefull and can add it ?

Why not just use an autostart script ?

because i use sometimes other scripts, so i need change.

But if have the option of a seperate bootscript, that only execute once on boot a select script is too good for me.maybe it can more easy add.
