If I have the USB cable plugged in?

I bought a EyeFi x2 Pro 8GB, but it seems to lock up after a couple hundred pictures are transferred.  Probably a bug.
A usb cable is also an option, but I don't know how to enable that mode if it exists.  I've also had the camera lock up after taking a few thousand images.

Camera is a SX200

Also, I downloaded the D firmware but when CHDK loads it says version C.  Did someone forget to update the version string?

No. You could copy the files and delete them using the CHDK PTP interface. This may not prevent crashing after a lot of pictures are taken. You could periodically reboot the camera as well.

In this case, CHDK for the C version works unchanged on the D firmware, so we just make a copy in the build process.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
