Command to kill power to SD card?

Is there some kind of sleep command that will have the same effect as the camera being in suspend mode (killing power to the SD card?)

I have an eye-fi card that I want periodically rebooted.

I'm trying to find any way to take a very long series of time lapses without having to touch the camera.
USB Tether isn't an option
EyeFi wifi tether works, but the eyefi software locks up and the card needs to be power-cycled.
Webcams don't have very good optical quality

In February, someone emailed me :-

"With the eye-fi development i'm very furious because they state they  resolved the issue and after 8 camera restart it doesn't delete 1 photo.

Also during the shooting I've found a message no memory card!!!
I need to report this as soon as possible."

You can try rebooting the camera with the reboot script function. I don't know if this will reset the eye-fi or not, but you'd expect this to issue a hard reset command to the card somewhere along the way.

If I reboot the camera it will disable the chdk script though wont it?
Can I get it to boot to the 8gb card? I'm also not sure if the endless memory will work with the card lock enabled.

You can set scripts to autostart after CHDK boots.

AFAIK eye-fi does not like multi-partition cards. However, if you pass a an fi2 filename to the reboot, that should work.
