Hi just found this great site. Didn't know you could do this.
I have an old Powershot A40 ( that's the U.K model ) and am trying to find out
if this software will work with it but need to know which model it is as far as CHDK
is concerned but cannot seem to find the information.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Hi buteman, welcome to the forum.

Canon A40 is unfortunately based on a completely different OS.
CHDK can only run/be adapted to Digic II and later Canon cameras, check this list (roughly cameras from Sep 2005 could be supported)
