I see I still have a lot to learn. I have read some of the above link but I do have a habit of skimming and not reading....I guess it is the ADHD part of me......

Av Bracketing in Continuous Mode only increases the f-Stop on consecutive shots when bracket type is '+/-' or '-'.  No bracketing (f-stop change) occurs when bracket type is '+'. Tv Bracketing in Continuous Mode works fine I've tried this in Continuous Mode and well as Burst Mode; same results

Also, does the Force Manual Flash>ONLY in video imply i should get a video light when recording movies?

It's still crashing in beta 1529. Today mine crashed after about 8 or 9 minutes. Often it's within the first 2 to 4 minutes.

I just got this camera and I was wondering how do I shut off the lcd screen so that I could run a timelapse script without wearing down the battery.

Cameras without viewfinder can only switch off the LCD backlight.

it doesn't actually save you a lot.  Switching to playback mode when not shooting is reported to be more valuable.  Regardless, there are lots of postings about this if you use the search box at the top of the page.
