Hello again! The chdk works perfectly! but how can i run scripts like MANUAL FOCUS in video, or ULTRA INTERVALOMETER.

I don't know where i can download these scripts.. here i cannot found a download link.. http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/UBASIC/Scripts:_Ultra_Intervalometer

P.S: Sorry for my bad english

P.S2: I found some videos here Canon SX230HS with CHDK | manual focus in video mode demo and here Canon Powershot SX220HS timelapse test 2 (chdk intervalometer) full hd

The code for several versions of the Ultra_Intervalometer is posted directly in the wiki page you linked.

While some of the code in the wiki and forum is specific to some carmera (or OS version numbers),  the code on the page you linked should work with all cameras.

So all the code on that page will work with your sx230.

Taliesin

Hi Taliesin,

So far, this version works great for me, with one exception.

From my testing, this version has:

No problem with crashing during video recording, as reported by sylikc. Tested at 1080p24, up to 10 minutes in duration.
No problem with >ISO400 :-)

However, there is definitely something weird going on with JPEG compression. With the camera set to JPEG Compression Fine, file sizes are larger with CHDK switched off than they are with CHDK on (with all overrides disabled). Exif shows Fine compression in each case. Anecdotally (I don't have a properly controlled test to prove it) the difference in file size seems to be greater with complex scenes.

Thanks again for all your hard work on this taliesin, it's very much apreciated.

Graham

Ill have a look into it this weekend if I get time.

If possible can you post the contents of the ROMLOG. To create it requres some modification to SD CARD. The instrustructions are on the CHDK Wiki.

Thanks
Michael

Michael,

I finally got around to getting the ROMLOG from my camera (1.0.1a running CHDK 0.9.9-1324)

Btw, I wasn't entirely correct to say that it doesn't record anything when it crashes.  I found a MVI_####.TMP file where the .MOV file should've been.... so in any case, it was 0 bytes, so it didn't commit any data to the file.

Hi, I',m new here and just downloaded yesterday the 101a chdk the easy way for mac. After removing Mac flags on all files the software did run immediately. Thanks to the guys that put all the effort into this!!
One observation may be useful for the developers, I hope: when asking for storing RAW plus JPG no RAW is taken but only a JPG. After removing the dot RAWs were taken, as well as a JPG. Maybe someone can look into this.
Another one: I can only use DNG format, as Photoshop, nor any of the image capture programs that i know, can read the CRW or CR2 extension formats. Anyone can explain?

Ludwig
