is it possible, or just an useless idea:P?
after taking a shot, in review mode, func/set button has no function and menu button only quits zoom (a630)... it will be nice to give for one of them a "save raw" function after shot :D
(if somehow the raw data is in memory after shot, during review, it can be possible, no?)

maybe it could be on delete button... if pressed long(2 sec)
any ideeas or i have just an useless feature suggestion:P...

I'm affraid I don't understand your suggestion.

What do you mean by "save raw"?

The raw file is already in the SD card. Am I missing something?

I think the request is to allow normal picture taking in standard JPEG mode, then if you like the JPEG shot upon review (or need the RAW data), to be able to save the RAW picture (after the fact) from the memory buffer (assuming the RAW data is still available in memory).

Unfortunately, it's impossible. The RAW buffer is available, but the RAW data is already broken in review mode.

Seems that you had a similar idea like the one here, Save RAW after shot in review mode,
but it isn't possible in review mode...

Maybe one could implement something in shooting mode, but I think we would have to face the same problems there.

But anyway I like the idea and it would be really worth some research!

How about reverse logic? RAW is already saved. If you select not to save it, it is deleted.
I believe that we would need a hook in capture sequence after the JPG is produced and displayed.

Right, that's definitely possible but you still waste the time to save the raw file to begin with, so I guess it can be useful, but not very.

At this point, I'd say just make it so that when you delete the JPEG, the raw is deleted too (I think this was proposed although I can't find the thread). It's already possible to quick-delete the JPEG while in review mode.
