so i know there are only 2 aperture values on the SD1000, F/2.8 and F/8.0 (with nd filter). But i noticed when i mess around with the zoom, i can get other aperture values such as F/3.2, F/3.5, F/4.0, F/4.5, and F/4.9. i just clicked the zoom in button so it zoomed in the smallest increment it could do, F/4.9 being achieved at the highest optical zoom before it started going into digital zoom where it stayed at F/4.9. Am i onto something here or is this useless information because its with zooming?

This is a variable aperture zoom; this means tha maximun aperture varies with focal length. Max aperture is f/2.8 when using the wide 35mm, but only 4.9 with the tele 105mm
