it would be great to override auto modes too... for example to avoid blurred and noisy images if possible... the bulit in high iso mode is fine for avoid blurred(and get noisy) images but it keeps iso 400 even in goof light conditions until shutter speed reaches 1/1250, and above that begins to decrease iso values
it would be great to set 1/200 for example as condition to decrease iso

Just now I've tested it on a650 with your condition set. There were no problems. What version of firmware is on your camera?
Try to delete chdk.cfg  from your flash card

Are you sure that using of nd-filter with a710 has some success? Did you see any differences between images when nd-filter is in "in state" and when nd-filter is in "off state"? Can you upload somewhere exapmles of this photos

The ND filter switch works on my A710 as well with build 34. haven't tested build 37 yet.

Already tried to delete chdk.cfg and my firmware version is 1.00D. I found that if you point the camera to a bright area, half-press shutter and camera will hang-up with lcd turn-off after few seconds. Thanks.

I give back built 34 in my A710 and took some photos with ND in and off. Yes, I am sure there are difference between images - for example the 1st image I took with apperture 2,8 and shutter 1/40 without ND (manual mode), the 2nd image with ND and the same value of apperture and shutter - this image is darker in comparison to 1st about -2EV. The 3rd image I took with ND in and aperture 2,8 and shutter 1/8 - exposition value is  approximately equal the 1st. If I know, how to make an attachment to this post, I will send this photos. As the A710is member wrote, he has similar experiences with the built 34 on A710.

ND filter feature is very important for me (and I dont want to buy an real optical ND filter), so if you can, add this function to buit 37 for A710, in the same way as in built 34. Thanks.

Thanks for fixing SD label in video mode, it's working now

Also noticed that ISO label is working now in video mode - great !!!  On my A620 it goes from 50 to 287 (well, according to my measurements, values should be about 4x higher - probably because of different sensor readout mode, but doesn't matter)

Is it possible to return the feature from latest PhyrePhoX's build - half press of the shutter hides filespace indicator, raw counter and battery voltage, just like some of Canon's icons are hidden in that condition (jpeg counter etc)

I tried that - i got down to just the diskboot.bin and the firmware file, but it still ends up in alt mode on boot and won't let me out of it.
