I just assumed that the +5V/100mA USB standard would be a reasonable starting point, given that the USB port is used transfer data over USB, too.  Though now that I think about it, my camera battery (I am playing with an SX200 IS) is only 3.7V.  I just don't want to pop any I/O's on that DIGIC chip!

Hey!
Nice remote, i just installed chdk and wanted to use a remote on my sx10is.
now im living in australia and i dont think i will be able to get all the componentes or else it will be quite expensive.
So i was looking at focalprice and i found this
http://www.focalprice.com/search.html?keyword=camera+remote&category=000105&pricebegin=3.1&priceend=6.68
lots of remote (there are wireless too),
so i'm just gonna to buy one + a extension cable and put some battery on it.
What do you think about?
and what battery should i put on it?

Cheers!
