Any plans for A590 IS Support?

Sorry if this is a totally newb question. I'm new to Canon, let alone CHDK (Nikon SLR man until now).

Is it likely that CHDK will be available for the A590 IS, or should I grab an A570 while I can?

Porting to a new cam requires a firmware dump, read about it here: [HOW TO] How to Dump Firmware ?
So I guess it mostly depends on how many owners of this cam are willing to invest their time and creativity
into this, and in the porting.

I own a 570 and have no complaints at all. The camera even without CHDK has all the features one might want. With CHDK it becomes quite superb. I don't think you could go wrong grabbing a 570. I'm sure the 590 will eventually be brought into the CHDK family but there have been some problems with the newer operating system. A bird in the hand...
