I am new to CHDK development. For the past few days I have been reading all possible info I could find regarding adding support for a new camera. Still in the process of understanding all the available info, might take a while.
In the meantime (as an exercise) I tried to dump the firmware of my new A1200. Took me a few days but finally seem to have succeeded via cbdumper.
To check if I had a valid dump I did a binary filecompare with the already available dump from user praveen_sb.
The filecompare shows differences starting from offset 00790060 onwards, so most of the dump is identical.
