Native Canon Basic : Getting Started ?

I am a total newbie to CHDK.

I see that A1200 is not yet supported, but I have uploaded a dump..
http://c15_manali.tripod.com/a1200/readme.htm

Meanwhile, I would like to know what can be done with the native BASIC interpreter.. any docs or sample scripts? Can I script a series of shots at different exposures or zoom levels, for example?

edit : I looked in http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Event_Procedure and its PDF version, but most of the procs are "undocumented".

Pretty much everything that is known is on http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Canon_Basic and the pages linked from there.

I spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to run a canon basic script in shooting mode, but never managed to get it to work. It seems like it should be possible, since lots of the events procs only make sense for shooting. If you can figure out how to do that, you would be able to do a whole lot with canon basic.

The original thread has some discussion of this http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php/topic,5549.0.html

Event proc usage can be guessed from the name, or from disassembling the firmware.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Thanks, reyalp.
I'll study the info that is out there.
