Okay so this is the deal,

I formated everything right and used the card trick way to load my CHDK on my canon. I followed so many tutorials and videos and it's just not working out for me.

The problem is that when I insert my SD Card on Lock mode it only shows the green light that signifies that my camera is on, but the lcd screen doesn't turn on and it only shows black. When I press power the lense doesn't come out and I can't turn it into play mode. Am I doing something wrong? Help please.

Hello & welcome !

The problem is that when I insert my SD Card on Lock mode it only shows the green light that signifies that my camera is on, but the lcd screen doesn't turn on and it only shows black. When I press power the lense doesn't come out and I can't turn it into play mode.
First - do you use the correct CHDK version (1.00B / 1.00C) ?

When using the correct version - doe you see the CHDK splash screen ?

You may also start CHDK manually with the "Firm Update" method (power on your camera with the PLAY [>] button, not with ON/OFF !)

-> With CHDK, the camera always start in playback mode - press or half-press the shutter button once to switch to record mode
-> With CHDK's autoboot loading method (locked card) hold the power button for ~ 1 second to power on the camera directly in record mode
