Newbie saying Thanks CHDK with first question.

I am quite enjoy and learning a lot using CHDK with my S3 and SX10 (not much on SD500) for several days now. Few thoughts and questions yet don't know which to start, just post whenever question rises.
Perhaps at least for starting;
101b-0.9.9-869 full for SD500 / 1G SD
100a-0.9.9-966 full for S3 / 8G SDHC
101b-0.9.9-966 full for SX10 / 16G SDHC
Somehow, I can not install 102b or 103a onto any card for SX10. Either the camera "freeze-up" or not booting. Everything is fine after switched back to 101b. So the question now is : Am I using the updated CHDK for the SX10?

You must always install the exact same firmware version of CHDK as the one in your camera, others
will definitely not work.
Different versions of Canon P&S firmwares are usually not updates, Canon normally only
releases updates for P&S in case of real errors.

PS Your CHDKs appear severely outdated - current version is 0.9.9-1226

Thanks whim for your quick response. (Problem posting thanks note afterward)
Have reinstalled the update version on all cameras yet to find out the differences.
Could you please tell me the difference between those 100c-0.9.9-1226/101a.../101b.../102b.../103a...?
BTW. I use:
101b-0.9.9-1226 on SD500
100a-0.9.9-1226 on S3
101b-0.9.9-1226 on SX10
Other version either not booting or freez-up the camera.

So, if 101a works for you, you don't need any of the others - they are for camera's that were equipped
with alternate firmwares by Canon. Different 'firmware' versions of CHDK are functionally equivalent (from
the point of vue of the user), but each only works on the camera with a corresponding firmware version.
