That is virtually impossible.
The code is exactly the same as CHDK.

I will check it again.

That cannot work with CHDK.

For CHDK, the command is shut_down.

For SDM, the command is shut_down or shutdown.

Please make sure you are testing correct version.

I was using shut_down for both. I will check again :)

It still isn't working with the SDM for some reason. It isn't that important if I don't fix it before the launch because the battery will eventually die.

In menu Advanced\Miscellaneous, try setting 'Disable LCD off' to 'Never'.

So, do you have launch site co-ordinates or Google Earth kml file ?

Any idea of launch date ?

Be very careful, there are errors in the original script.
The logged information says target shutter-speed was 1/4000 but value aimed for was actually 1/2000.

For completeness, the final scripts are attached.

One is for camera looking straight down, the other for the camera looking sideways.

The sideways camera records a five minute lift-off movie, the one looking straight down records a one minute movie followed by four minutes of high-resolution still photos taken every three seconds  .... hopefully.

That is a nice open area to launch from.
I wonder if you will get a view of the ocean ?
Hope it does not land there.

As far as I can tell, an exposure of 1/2000 at 80 ISO or 1/4000 at 160 ISO is possible over Nevada and presumably California.
That is based on the exposure in the launchers neighbourhood, guess the hills are darker, no matter the exposure will be OK.

(The ND filter is forced out).

I know the GPS readings are transmitted to a website so one way or another it must be possible to create a kml file.

Incidentally, is the colour palette used OK ?

It is the same as the S95.

If necessary, I can change it to the one used by CHDK.
