Diary functionality possible with CHDK?

Hi,

a friend showed me her SX230HS and it's "diary"-diary. Which mean, when taking a piture the cam makes a movie of 3 secs aftwards and combines those clips to one movie.
I wonder if such functionality (or similar) could be achieved with CHDK scripts?

Yes, but you would have to join the movie clips on the PC, it is 'impossible' to do with CHDK.

(we really can say IMPOSSIBLE).

thanks for the reply.
I also thought, that the "gluing" would have to be done on a PC. But it's nice to hear that the the shooting would be possible.
Guess I will have to have a closer look at the ubasic-thingie... :D

Hi,

for completeness...

I just learned, that the feature I am looking for is called "movie digest", not "diary". Seems the German translation is a bit different here. ;)
Just in case someone wondered what I was talking about... :D
