I've got an SD780 IS that I recently loaded CHDK onto.  I'm trying to figure out how to get the manual focus working, but a weird quirk seems to keep it from maintaining focus.

Basically, I can change the focus by following the instructions in the many guides that are out there, but whenever I do so, it immediately re-focuses to whatever auto-focus depth it was at before.  Is there any way that I can keep this from happening?
