I just bought this (IXUS 220 HS) camera... can I confirm then that CHDK works on this camera with larger than 4GB SDcards formatted with FAT32  and has auto-boot?

All 2011 released cameras have that ability.  The ELPH 300HS was released Feb 11, 2011.
