Hello & welcome, letailer !
Does CHDK for G10 support taking time lapse movies?
CHDK doesn't create TL movies...
To create TL movies, use an intervalometer script to capture still images, then create a movie with a software like VirtualDub...see also

The links at the start of this thread have been updated to point to Beta release 5 files.

This version picks up the latest changes in the main autobuild trunk.  G10 specific changes include corrections for the USB port not supporting remote switch operation and ptp not working.  Menu, font and logo scaling have been changed to the latest method resulting in a somewhat cleaner look.

As always with these beta releases,  the firmware update method is not available.  Please use the SD Card boot method.

Cool, it is even better than built-in function, exact what I need :-)
Thanks!

With a little bit of code work,  you can modify these scripts (or use as a template to create your own) and get them to do exactly what you want them to do.  Ask for more help here : http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?board=7.0 if you need it.

I remember I saw somewhere instructions about how to take screenshots from the camera, but cannot find it. It's for my article about CHDK on G10, I'd like to include illustrations.

altero :   I just got a great tip from chdk member Achillies.    If you have the video output cable for your G10 and can hook it to a video input on your PC then you have a great way of taking screenshots all day long !

Thanks waterwingz, I have the video cable somewhere, but have to figure out how to use whatever adapters I own in order to get the signal to my Mac.
Or I use the screenshots from the manual :)

The article is done (even if the CHDK it's still beta, it works nicely). It's in Romanian, so I don't put here the link.

The translate function in Google's chrome browser works pretty well - go ahead and post the link ?

(s?punier? = soap holder; a pejorative term for non-DSLR cameras :) )

I'll stick to existing for a while :-)
