Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is something like an identifying number, unique to each individual camera.  I know each camera has a serial number, but is it stored anywhere in the camera electronics?

D10 returns a 32 hex digit serial number in the PTP devicinfo.  This appears in ROM starting at 0xFFFE0010

It has eventprocs to display and set a serial number

a540 does not return a serial number, and does not have the corresponding eventprocs.
