i have seen the sea gulls before,that is one of the main reasons i knew i needed sync, i didn't know masuji had taken them. i hope he is ok.

my 480 only changes the on and off in shoot mode,it turns the OSD on and off in ALT mode when you press set. i take it they all work different.

there doesn't seem to be the option (clear override values from start) in SDM ,as there is in CHDK, could this be the problem, only guessing of course.

Hi all, ran across an SDM installer problem.  Using Windows 7  - works fine on HP laptop.....can't get it to work with the Dell laptop (also Windows 7).  The intaller program launches but does not see any drive letters to select the SD card.....any ideas for help?  Desperate KAPer ...   WW

Hi Jim.

I know some laptops give problems.

Do you have a separate card reader ?
They are very inexpensive and usually solve the problem.
