I've browsed through the forums, read the FAQ etc...
I've tried a couple of CHDK builds on my IXUS 800 IS, but after firmware update nothing seems to happen?
How do I activate the new menus? Especially, what's the <ALT> button?
The docs tell it for the A and S cameras, but IXUS... nothing?
I've tried probably any possible button combo, with no success, CHDK doesn't come "alive"

Sorry, I'm not ixus user.

Did the splashscreen appeared when you updated the firmware? A light-blue square with white letters.
That means you succesfully loaded CHDK. If not, you have to solve that first.

If yes, press each button until you see <ALT> at the bottom of the screen.

OK, I tried a third version (allbest 100b), and it works, "direct print" is the alt button
