-The patch for the 10min video limit works.
-Long exposures are limited to 64sec and the camera continues as if you had instructed it to take a 64sec exposure, there are no entries in romlog.log

I've managed to fix the extra long exposure problem. The code for the extra long exposure mod was never called from exp_drv_task(), why i don't know.
I've replaced exp_drv_task() with the one from my firmware and now it works.
Tested with 1.01b and 1.01c
The modified capt_seq.c is attached

You must recompile chdk with this .c file. Easiest way is to install chdk shell and copy the .c to trunk\trnk#\platform\ixus115...\sub\101b and 101c.
Or wait until someone more experienced releases a complete fw with this fix (and other patches like the video limit patch).

Regarding the fix, i think the original capt_seq routine was copied from 1.01a, and that something went wrong. Maybe the original capt_seq works on the 1.01a but i don't have that version in my shoe box of cameras ;)
Can someone with a 1.01a test long exposures over 64 seconds with the unpatched version of the autobuild server and report back?
If 1.01a works then with the modified capt_seq for 1.01b and 1.01c this patch could be included on the autobuild server.

If you follow the instructions in the link I posted,  its not hard to compile your own version of CHDK.  You just have to carefully follow the instructions.   

However,  if you have no software development experience you might find some of those instructions confusing. You can post any questions you might have in a new thread (not here in the IXUS115 thread) and we will try to help you.

If you want to change how the CHDK firmware works, that's a lot harder and takes considerable software development experience or a lot of patience.  And sometimes it takes both.

I have programming experience. But I can have undestanding problems becouse I am Russian. :) But it is a realy good practic for me. 8) And if I am making mistakes in writting let me know pliz)
