Hi, sorry but I need help .
I have a ixus 115 and I replaced lens but now flash dont work, when trying to take a picture, the flash assist lights up, then the flash icon just keeps blinking (charging flash?) and the camera never takes the picture. When flash not needed it works without problem (takes the photo). I replaced flash plate board too but dont work. Somebody can help me? please
Thanks.

This sort of post is a little off topic, and should perhaps be better posted in the hardware hacking section. However,  for what it is worth, I think you may have forgotten to reconnect, or perhaps damaged,  a small three pin connector cable linked to the flash module.

Hello!

I can't find how to set the aperture manually. In a previous version (Hanulis version I think), I could set it.

Is it missing on purpose?

Thanks  :)

the aperture is fixed in this camera, I think it was not disabled in the earlier build.

even if you change the aperture value, it makes no difference.

you can only get smaller aperture by zooming in. Or put the ND filter in to allow less light to get through the lens.

Does 115 support UHS-I flash cards? Now I have flash card 10 class, and if i choose 100% of full-hd quality then my flash card dont have time to write and cancels recording of the video. Will it be useful to buy UHS-I flash card?

This camera is built around the DIGIC 4 chip, which AFAIK doesn't support UHS.

look what i found
Quote
Can I use an UHS-I card with a SDHC host device?
Yes! All SD UHS-I cards can be used with all existing SDXC and SDHC devices (backwards compatible). Note that SDXC UHS-I cards are not compatible with SD or SDHC host devices, only with SDXC host devices. See the SDXC FAQ for more information. Although SD UHS-I cards can be used with all existing SDXC and SDHC devices, if you want to optimize UHS performance, select a device with the UHS-I logo...

so that means i can use it?
