Hello All!
A CHDK newbie here! Thank you everyone for working on the Ixus 115 HS.

Not to interrupt you, I'd like to start contributing.

Hey everybody, I'm the original thread creator!
I've been neglecting this thread, and wasn't helping anybody who needed it. Sorry :(
But wow it was so exciting to see that this thread has 24 pages!!!

waterwingz is at the moment the one, who does the most coding. alpha10 for 1.01b/c should be out today and I think he (she?) will be back "on" at around 5pm.
The latest official alpha for 1.01b/c is #9: https://www.box.com/s/915f8a2624978a1bfc07
this is a testing-alpha10 for 1.01b/c: https://www.box.com/s/cd187f2d876a07974905 (not yet in the wild but works pretty good)
sadly waterwingz has no ixus115 for testing, so all testing takes some days longer - but we are busy.
Up to now, it seems alpha10 could be the beta1 !!

great~! all DNG saving is good and now I can worry-free shooting with it, no need to do playback every shot

any other feature need help on testing?

And with a Toshiba class 10 SDHC card, I hold the shutter button and do continuous shooting, got about 26 frames per minutes.

Any way to improve the performance? or is it the card limiting the write speed? I am a bit greedy on the performance, hope to wait less between each shot  :P

Here's alpha11.  Unless I missed something,  this should now work properly on all firmware versions. 

RAW/DNG and shooting with script problems all fixed.

1.00C > ixus115_elph100hs-100c-1.1.0-alpha11.zip
1.01A > ixus115_elph100hs-101a-1.1.0-alpha11.zip
1.01B > ixus115_elph100hs-101b-1.1.0-alpha11.zip

Notes:

1) I've disabled the option to change the key sequence that launches <ALT> mode for now.  The movie key and playback key are not currently define in kbd.c so that will have to wait for now.
2) I need a volunteer to work through this part of the process :  http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Adding_support_for_a_new_camera#platform.2F.3Ccamera.3E.2Fshooting.c
No programming required - but you have to have the camera to do this part.

Feedback needed - it would be good if somebody downloading the 1.00c and 1.01a version could report that they at least load and run.

@waterwingz,
alpha11 for 101a is great. i've tried shooting raw and shutter speed for 3 times in a row and everything was fine, it didin't end after the first shot. great work, man! :)  so now, adding manual focus and disabling 10 minutes limit for videos will make me happy :D
p.s. please, go on making chdk for 101a. i would be happy to test it, i try to check the forum every day.

I have the camera, but I didn't get what to do. :-[
Can you explain that to this newbie? ::)
