SD450 Can't find firmware

Using http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/User:Intrnst#How_to_check_the_firmware_version_of_a_Canon_P.26S_camera my camera will not display the firmware version.

I also tried all three chdk located here http://mighty-hoernsche.de/ and I can not seem to get them to work.

I asume I'm missing something simple here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
