Been watching these guys, hope to get one to set up as a networked CHDK PTP remote. No onboard wifi, but you could use a USB hub and wifi dongle. Or a cell network dongle.

Some of the specs are overkill for this application, but if they actually hit their claimed price it would be hard to complain.

It should be able to run a pretty vanilla linux environment, so no special ARM knowledge is be needed for most things. Any portable C (or python or perl or lua or php...) code should be fine.
