Not saving my pictures

Hello,

I have a s95 and a flashcard of 16GB partitioned in 2 partitions: 1 of 2GB (FAT16)  and 1 with the rest of the card (FAT32)

I have installed s95-100k-0.9.9-1341-full_BETA on the 2GB. The firmware is booting on the camera and I can make some pictures true USB-triggering. There is just 1 big problem: I can't find the taken pictures!  :'(

I have noticed that file DCIM is not created so I have created it manually but still no luck.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm further again.

I figured out that if i take a picture by pressing the button manually then i have a picture.

So the problem is the USB triggering. Here is what i have to do:

Enable built-in CHDK remote support

You can use a USB remote trigger without a script. First, ensure you are running a reasonably up-to-date CHDK build. Some early builds did not support remote shutter release control via USB. Now enable remote support via the CHDK menu: Main Menu > Miscellaneous Stuff > Remote Parameters > Enable Remote. See User Manual for details.

Now I have to find this setting in the camera and even that is again a struggle  :o

If you don't have USB remote enabled,  then when you apply 5V to the USB port,  the camera switches into "data transfer" mode.  The screen will usually go blank or the camera will "beep" as the camera waits from requests from the computer it thinks is attached to the USB port.   So if that is what you saw, you were not actually taking pictures when you activated your remote USB switch.

Take a look at the diagram just below the text you quoted from the wiki.  It should help explain the various operating modes of the USB remote.

Some other things you should take a few minutes to look at if you are serious about using CHDK :
