A570IS CHDK Video Tips?

Hi

Am going to try video on my A570IS so checked the latest user guide.   While the Video section gave a lot of usable information   http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110731154511/chdk/images/2/24/CHDK_Quick_Start_User_Guide_-_Booklet.pdf  am especially interested in what other A570IS CHDK users have found the "best settings" for this camera.

Even if you do not have a A570IS but are using CHDK video am open to all suggestions or tips.

Thanks

Ken

Forgot to mention, searched the forum using A570IS video and did find mention by fudgey "My a570is can go 640x480 in 30 fps and half resolution in 60 fps, that's a whole lot more than the slightly more than 1 fps in burst mode..."  http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=1337.msg12961#msg12961

Decided to Google using same key words and found http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/A570_IS which gave this model specs but no video info or tips.

Noticed there was a link from A570IS CHDK Wiki to a review I had never read.
http://www.trustedreviews.com/Canon-PowerShot-A570-IS_Digital-Camera_review

Saw "My only real complaint was that I found that the zoom control to be rather unresponsive. The zoom is stepped rather than continuous, with only seven positions between telephoto and wide angle, so accurate in-camera framing proved to be impossible."

Has this complaint zoom unresponsive and stepped aspects been solved with CHDK?  For Stills?  For Videos?

Probably not - CHDK just calls existing camera functions to operate the zoom features.  If the camera runs the zoom in "stepped" mode then CHDK will run the zoom in "stepped" mode.

However, I have to ask,  if you hadn't found the article you quoted,  would you even have noticed ?
