Tbh i dont think juciphox is that much buggier than allbest, some bugs exist in both builds, some bugs in allbest (fixed in jp) and some got introduced by jp.
Imo no major bugs exist that would justify not using a certain build.

Did you have saving RAW enabled?

I just played around with that feature - just for you :P - and found out that Auto DR processing doesnt happen when saving RAW is enabled.

Anyways, Seems like this feature kinda sucks, the image quality gets awfully degraded.

While playing around i noticed 2 bugs:

1.) Juciphox doesnt boot on the SX100 1.00c if the power button is pressed longer than a second. Seems like the opposite to this SX100IS stuck in Playback mode :( ..

2.) While trying to get the autobuild version running, juciphox managed to reset my camera settings! It didnt boot because i was used to pressing the power button for a second (using ewavrs modification from the thread above in my own little modified juciphox version), just gave me a short flashing blue printer led - but after a second shorter press, the camera did boot - sadly, it showed me the canon splash screen and played that annoying startup sound, which i both usually disable!

Not too bad bugs, just a matter of minutes to redo all my settings.. but still.. strange.

Regards

Yes yes! And thank you :)
When i turn ON save raw, no curves at all works, auto or custom.
When i turn it OFF, then it all seems to be working.

/ - chdk-allbest+ - Trac
there're some old sources without rotated timestamp
/ - chdk-allbest+rotate-timestamp - Trac
here is with orientation sensor code to rotate timestamp

feel free to any manipulation with timestamp code or integrate it into your issue of chdk.
I'll recommend to all my canons5is.clan.su' users to use that issue hoping timestamp being integrated. :)

Hi Guys,

Your build is really smart, loving the icons especially :)

I was wondering if there's any chance to control the flash power level? (Im using an Ixus 860/870)

I always find the flash ridiculously over powered, it totally spoils indoor shots, so I always have it off, but then get blurry shots or high iso noise. Being able to have it adjustable on half power would be awesome.

If this can be done with CHDK then it'd be great, otherwise I might just have to resort to tape to cover half the flash!

Thanks loads for what you've already achieved for this camera.

Yes, flash can be controlled in the sense that it is "theoretically" known how to do that. But in your case, if your particular camera overexposes with flash (which is abnormal, as usual Canon practice is to slightly underexpose), then simply use exposure compensation feature of your camera.

see attached rus lng for 0.5.1-499.
I'd publish it too at my canons5is.clan.su in file catalogy.
