yes, it should work on the 570-is. there is no compiled build though (you have to compile for yourself). will probably upload something tonight.

there are at least two confirmed bugs: on digicIII cameras, the pause function crashes the camera when you pause more than 2 seconds. Also, the down button immediately resets the bitrate to 0.25, instead of decreasing the present bitrate by 0.25. this is due to my ugly fast coding ;)

few video related bugs ironed out in Changeset 457 - chdk - Trac . CHDK.CFG is renamed to CHDK.CFG, so when you update, chdk creates a new cfg.

As a TX1 user I'm very glad you began to work on video mode, I hope choosing ISO/aperture/speed in videos could be implemented soon. Thankyou very much for all this precious work!

HI
what about unreadable raws in player mode after raw development? I've realized with my A650IS that developing a row with tone curve enabled give the following situation.

In player mode, when you browser the image file system I get a set of gray thumbimages with a yellow question mark and the text "immagine non identificata" (in italian), that's to "unidentyfied image". Since the message is in italian i assume that it's a canon error message. This strange situation raises even in the situation of a single raw and a single jpeg. In the thumbimages window
you could see a set grey error thumbs, even with a single CRW.

is it something strange?
thanks in advance
alex

Possible bug in raw_savefile:
At the very end
Code: [Select]
        finished();

        return (fd >= 0);
    }

    if (conf.curve_enable) curve_apply();

    return 0;
}
If the raw is saved, the curve_apply stuff won't be done.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

no, i already found a few digicII cameras this option does NOT work on (for example a620). maybe we will find a way to implement it, but for now i dont think so (relies heavily on ASM skills, which i dont have :D). i will disable it at default in the next build.
