I'm using a Nikon WC-E68 wide angle adapter lens, on G9, and the rear of this lens is setup to be ultra close to the camera's lens at it's full wide zoom position.
Is it possible to get a feature through CHDK that will allow me to lock the camera's focal length to stay wide open, 35mm equiv., even if I try to zoom the camera's lens (by accident or forgetfulness)? This feature would possibly keep me and others from damaging our cameras.
