In a few days facebook will be releasing a new profile called "Timeline" view. At the top of your page you can have a cover photo. I have seen an article showing some interesting uses of the cover photo. I want to make a cover photo where the profile picture and cover photo are continuous. I created a grid for CHDK to help me accomplish this. It will require a little photoshopping to cut the photo into the two pieces (the cover photo and the profile picture) but it shouldn't be too difficult.

With the right background it can make a cool effect. And with this grid I've made, its easy to go out and align yourself properly (with the help of someone to take your photo) so that when you get home you can easily crop the right areas to make everything fit.
