Has anyone ever attempted an AA filter removal/substitution in an S3 or any other S series cameras?
Of course, having opened up several A and S series cameras I know its likely to inspire this kind of reaction:
However I have witnessed the operations on older 5-8 mp SLRs with noticeable improvements in sharpness. Given that the S3 is only 6mp it may have an overaggressive filter and might respond well to a weaker filter from a higher resolution camera.
